Strategy Project Facilitator B5
Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust
Date: 1 day ago
City: Guildford
Contract type: Full time

We are looking for a proactive and organised Strategy Project Facilitator to support the delivery of key strategic projects as part of the South East Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN). This role will work closely with the Corporate Services Manager to coordinate, deliver and report on a wide range of high-impact strategic initiatives. These projects are designed to improve capacity and capability in research delivery, and ultimately contribute to a more efficient, inclusive, and effective research ecosystem.
This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on the future of health and care research. By supporting strategic projects that enhance research inclusion, build research capacity, and improve delivery systems, you’ll help ensure research studies include more people and reach diverse communities—ultimately shaping better outcomes for patients and the wider population.
You will work with the Corporate Services Manager to play a key role in coordinating and supporting a range of complex strategic projects involving multiple stakeholders. Working closely with senior colleagues, you will manage project timelines, contribute to planning and reporting, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret data, manage stakeholder relationships, and work across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, confident working with complexity, and passionate about improving research delivery and inclusion. Experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement and a good understanding of healthcare and/or research environments will be highly beneficial.
Royal Surrey is a compassionate and collaborative acute and community Trust. Recognising that our 5000 colleagues are our greatest strength, we offer a comprehensive health and wellbeing program along with a commitment to developing and advancing your career. Our diverse and welcoming Royal Surrey family will ensure you that you feel valued from your initial interview through your entire tenure.
We are clinically led and provide joined up care by bridging the gap between hospital and community services alongside regional specialist cancer care. Our main acute hospital site is in Guildford with community hospital sites at Milford, Haslemere and Cranleigh. We provide adult community health services in homes across Guildford and Waverley.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) have given us an overall rating of Outstanding.
Royal Surrey has a strong reputation and history to build on. We are proud of our achievements and we are investing in our colleagues through our commitment to supporting professional development as well as investing more than £45 million in our physical environment and new equipment in the next few years. There has never been a better time to join us.
Although it isn't the Trusts normal practice, adverts may close early, so you are encouraged to submit an application as soon as possible.
