About Us
Not Actual Size is a collective of creatives and strategists who build respect for brands. We are an independent, employee-owned B Corp, working in partnership with Global brands such as Dove, Sure/Rexona, and Roche.
Our services cover the creative spectrum – from truly social-first content creation to turning unseen insights into campaign ideas. We also never forget the beautiful basics and take pride in crafting product pages or lifestyle shots that truly resonate – for us, every detail matters. Our strategy team works closely with our creative team and client partners, providing data, insights and reporting to influence decisions and boost innovation.
Our team has been growing and we’re looking for big thinkers, dot joiners and meaning makers to join us – we are looking for an ambitious, proactive and experienced Senior Strategist to help us go to the next level.
About You
As a Senior Strategist, your lateral thinking and ability to interpret Client problems and briefs enables you to deliver a concise articulation of strategic and creative needs to inspire our internal team. You craft best in class strategies to guide creative thinking, content planning and impactful delivery of ideas. You confidently guide our senior client roster – and challenge them, respectfully – to solve their problems imaginatively. You are a whizz at campaign planning and understand how to expertly translate that into social, never losing sight of the bigger business problem our social campaign is driving back to and crafting social-native concepts to bring it to life.
You Are a Senior Strategist Who Can
Understand the business context of client briefs – including the difference between business objective, marketing objective, comms objective and social objective, and be confident in defining these for projects
Synthesise data and findings into something inspiring and useful for wider teams – teasing out the implications of the numbers with clarity and concision
Distil complex information, research and context into a clear, single-minded strategic direction / creative brief
Juggle multiple projects simultaneously, able to dispense advice along the way to clients and team members
Proactively take a lead role on strategic briefs, establishing an approach and briefing relevant stakeholders
Confidently mentor more junior colleagues – within and outside of the strategy remit
Establish success frameworks, KPIs and reporting methodologies to optimise creative output
Truly understand our client brands and inject the team with a “what if…?” mindset to unlock blue sky thinking and proactive proposals
You Are a Senior Strategist Who Happens To Be
An empathetic listener who understands the value of curiosity – always listening to understand new insights, worlds and ways of thinking
A good communicator with natural people skills, well networked and effectively collaborates with multiple different roles and disciplines. Able to present confidently and with clarity to various audiences
A thoughtful planner, able to pinpoint pivotal opportunities and information in a sea of noise, and design a set of action to address these in a clear and actionable way
An respectful disruptor unafraid to challenge assumptions to spark meaningful conversations and change the way people think and do
An organised team member who pays attention to details, from typos to folder management to to-do lists – you maintain high standards during busy bursts of activity
A compelling storyteller, valuing strong narrative and using storytelling to unify and inspire stakeholders within a single course of action
Data oriented – you understand the importance of data in creativity
A do-er – able to make ideas happen through creative problem solving and strong collaboration
A natural team player, willing to lead whilst valuing openness and collaboration with all team members
You Are a Senior Strategist Who Has
At least 3-4 years experience in a strategist role, ideally within a creative agency, with experience across social strategy and brand planning
A finger on the pulse of social media trends, formats, platforms and landscape shifts
