About Us

Ward 12 is an 17 bedded inpatient unit providing orthopaedic small joint services to adult patients. As a specialist Foundation Trust, we are in an enviable position to focus our attention on high quality care and innovation. Ward 12 is often at the forefront of these innovations and as Staff Nurse you will be involved in delivering pioneering and life-changing care. We also provide a Bone Infection Unit (BIU) service and provide nursing care for patients being treated under this service. As a nursing team, we have made vast improvements to develop our nursing processes to ensure that we provide the best in nursing care to our patients. We pride ourselves in ensuring that we consistently challenge ourselves to provide the best care to our patients to ensure they can recover from their operation and return home with an improved quality of life.
