What You'll Get Up To

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Sr Brand Manager to work on our growing Sports Partnerships agenda for our Beverage category. This role is an excellent platform for someone who is interested in sports marketing and partnerships.

As part of the GB Beverages Marketing function, the successful candidate will work closely with the UK Head of Sports Partnerships to shape our sports agenda, including supporting on existing partnerships (Wembley, Baller League UK, athletes) and future partnerships.

In addition, this role will help maximise Power of One commercial opportunities on football by partnering with the newly-formed Carlsberg-Britvic and Foods Commercial teams to bring shared properties (UEFA Men’s & Women’s Champions League, UEFA Women’s Euro) to life with UK consumers on the shop floor.

The candidate should be passionate about sport, experienced in working in a matrix organisation and has a collaborative approach and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key elements of our Wembley Stadium partnership, including ticketing & the annual Play-on-the-Pitch event and support on the creation & execution of a Pepsi experience space within the stadium.
  • Manage the activation of Baller League UK, including in-situ branding, experiential, ticketing and work with creative agency to drive amplification/engagement opportunities (e.g. influencers)
  • Collaborate with bottler partner and Foods Commercial teams to execute best-in-class UCL/UWCL Po1 activation
  • Support with assessing existing partnerships and evaluating new strategic opportunities, particularly around football (both Men’s & Women’s).
  • Collaborate with Brand team to feed into Pepsi Football E2E plans and work together with Global Sports & Partnerships team.
  • Manage budget, ensuring close collaboration with wider Beverages team (Brand & TCP).

Qualifications

  • Consumer marketing experience.
  • Some experience of working within sport is desired - a passion for sport is preferred!
  • Strong consumer understanding and brand building skills, including growing brands through leveraging passion points of consumers.
  • Some experience of managing partnerships is desired, demonstrating ability to build strong relationships and work with third-party stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset, with proven ability to take consumer & customer insight and translate into plans that unlock brand growth.
  • Ability to operate with a high level of ambiguity.
  • Project management and high degree of ownership - ability to manage projects in a fast-moving and ever-changing environment with maturity and attention to detail.
  • Commercially savvy - knowing the commercial basics to work independently with Carlsberg Britvic.
  • Experience of engaging and leading cross-functional teams, internal and external partners
  • Budget Management experience
