We are looking for a talented, patient focused clinician to join our passionate team working in partnership with 'Southampton General Hospital.
These community based roles allow you to deliver one to one care in the comfort of the patient’s home to facilitate early supported transfer from hospital or to prevent unnecessary admission. You will have the chance to build lasting relationships with patients, stakeholders and support networks to aide and support their treatment and recovery.
A typical day at Sciensus as a ‘Specialist Physiotherapist’ will consist of:
What is required?
As this is a community based role you must firstly be happy driving in and around Southampton, be willing to cover three different shift patterns, 5 days out of 7 .
Additional to this we will require evidence of the following:

Whether we’re delivering cancer treatment in someone’s home or showing patients how to self-administer medicines, the human-touch care we provide helps patients make the most of their treatment.

- Conducting comprehensive holistic assessments of patients
- Formulating individualised physiotherapy treatment plans
- Deliver physiotherapy sessions in home or community settings to maximise patient independence.
- Educate patients and carers on the correct use of mobility and functional equipment.
What is required?
As this is a community based role you must firstly be happy driving in and around Southampton, be willing to cover three different shift patterns, 5 days out of 7 .
Additional to this we will require evidence of the following:
- Previous community experience or a track record of working autonomously
- Experience in an acute care setting
- HCPC registration
- Strong IT skills
