Job Overview
D o you enjoy the busy environment of hospital wards? Do you enjoy seeing a variety of patients on a day to day basis? If so we would welcome you application for our newly created Band 6 acute post. You would be responsible for a flexible caseload which may include critical care, gastroenterology and parenteral nutrition inpatients and outpatients, details to finalised on discussion with the successful applicant.
The acute team are supported by dietetic assistants. The whole department consists of over forty dietitians and dietetic assistants, and there are plenty of opportunities to collaborate with and learn from other teams. In addition, we have excellent working relationships with the other two department in North Wales, and you can expect to regularly work with your colleagues in other areas on pathways and development of best practice. Development needs are discussed regularly during supervision and annual appraisals, with all requests for study leave considered and dedicated CPD time allocated in every job plan. Many of our Dietitians are involved in research and MSc level study.

- Work within allocated wards and areas that may vary over time, depending on service need.
- Undertake relevant outpatient clinics and associated clinical tasks.
- Be supervised and carry out supervision of others.
- Participate in relevant projects, audits and developments.
- Collect and report relevant data and statistics.
