GSL Education have an exciting opportunity to work in one of our vibrant schools in Waterlooville. This school is currently seeking a proactive person to join their Secondary team. You will be working with children in Key Stage 3 and 4 who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties as well as other complex needs.
You will be joining an extremely supportive team who provide a stable and caring environment for both students and staff. This school also prioritises high staff to student ratios to ensure that every student has the opportunity to develop their abilities, share new experiences and be supported in realising their future dreams.
A suitable candidate will have experience working with children who have complex learning difficulties and enjoy building positive relationships.

As a Teaching Assistant, Your Roles May Include
- Working with small groups of pupils under the guidance of a teacher.
- Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and communication skills.
- Safeguarding will be your number one priority ensuring the welfare of the pupils.
- Working with Key stage 3 and 4 aged pupils.
To work with GSL Education as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
