Special Educational Needs TA (Teaching Assistant)
Location: Lincoln
Start Date: ASAP
Salary Scale: £83.33 - £90.00 per day (Depending on experience)
GSL Education Lincoln are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) for a vibrant school in Lincoln to support students with diverse learning requirements. This position is perfect for individuals with a genuine commitment to inclusivity and a passion for assisting pupils in overcoming educational challenges. Working closely with the school’s SEN team, you will contribute to a nurturing environment where every learner is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, youwill assist in managing day-to-day classroom activities, providing personalised support, and adapting materials to meet the needs of students with special educational needs. Being a collaborative role, this position requires close cooperation with teachers, parents, and SEN coordinators.

Responsibilities Of a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
- Support students with a range of special needs, adapting resources as needed
- Assist teachers in implementing personalised education plans
- Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with staff to ensure individualised learning
- Monitor and report on student progress to relevant staff
- Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection protocols
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
