Source To Pay Global Process Manager

Job Description

Venator is currently recruiting for a Source To Pay Global Process Manager to join the Accounting Shared Services team based at our global headquarters in Wynyard UK.

Reporting to the Global ASSC Director, this role is responsible for the overall design of the global Source to Pay and Travel & Entertainment processes, and for the operational performance of S2P teams in both Malaysia and the UK.

Job Responsibilities Include

• To oversee the operational performance of S2P globally, delivering high-quality, cost-effective Accounts Payable services to agreed performance targets (KPIs). Ensuring the allocation of tasks globally is kept under continuous review, such that we leverage the capabilities of the respective teams whilst minimizing our cost to operate.
• To ensure the agreed tiered management meeting structure (1-3) operates as per the design and the resulting actions are completed to agreed deadlines.
• To lead the S2P Steering Committee meetings, ensuring the content is fit for purpose and agreed actions are completed.
• Drive compliance with the S2P standard operating procedures across the business, ensuring:
• correct site purchasing procedures are followed.
• goods or service receipts are done in a timely manner.
• supplier behaviors, particularly around compliance with required documentation standards are met.
• Lead the global process improvement projects for S2P, ensuring compliance with the agreed Operational Excellence framework. Includes being the lead on identifying the optimal process technology to advance the progression to a Best in Class S2P function.
• Responsible for updating and setting operating standards for the S2P organization, working closely with the other key stakeholders (most notably Purchasing) to achieve this.
• Overseeing the T&E Concur BPO and Payments activities, ensuring key tasks are completed.
• Ensure all Source to Pay business policies & processes are followed to comply with internal controls, segregation of duties, delegation of authority and SOX compliance. These are subject to both internal & external audit
  

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive experience working in Accounts Payable
• Experience of leading a large team
• Track record of continuous improvement and change management
• Escalation process, resolving supplier queries, requests for payment to ensure that no action is taken against Venator due to late payment of supplier invoices
  
  

Preferable

• Level 4 in a European Languages (German, Italian or Spanish)
• Accountancy qualification
• CI qualification
• In depth knowledge of the relevant areas of SAP FI/CO and MM modules
• Knowledge of SOX and internal controls
• Degree qualified
• Experience with Concur or another Travel & Expense Claim System
