Salary: £39,000 - £46,000 DOE

Established in 2010, Inform Health is an award-winning software company, providing software applications to support Sexual Health, HIV, and Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) provider services.


In 2019 Inform launched a new and exciting range of patient self-management products designed to support even greater service efficiency whilst improving patient experience. These include “Click It”, a patient self managed home test kit and diagnostics service, alongside a range of other complimentary self-managed booking, treatment and prescription services.

Job Purpose


The Solutions Consultant is responsible for providing consulting services for the end-to-end delivery of our software solutions. Engaging closely with customers to understand their workflows and requirements, the Solution Consultant designs effective solutions, configures and validates system functionality, presents concept demonstrations, coordinates training, and guides customers through UAT.


The ideal candidate will have experience in health tech and knowledge of healthcare workflows, HL7 messaging, and system integrations. This role is both technical and customer-facing, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.


This role involves monthly travel to company office locations as well as occasional travel to customer sites; therefore, a valid driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Lead requirements analysis and consult on recommended practices for solutions from both a business and technical perspective.
  • Design solutions in which extensive experience and best practice knowledge is considered or applied.
  • Compose and deliver requirements documentation and accurately estimate time to complete solution deployment.
  • Lead the demonstration of the configured solution or prototypes of the solution while maintaining stakeholder buy in and managing scope expectations.
  • Build solution, including configuring application development tools and integrations.
  • Test configured solutions and validate the solutions are optimal, resolving any issues and proactively advising the customer through their testing while controlling project scope.
  • Compose training materials and conduct training sessions for customers that demonstrate the end-to-end functionality of the solution.
  • Transition key information to the technical support team to ensure continued successful support of customer.
  • Participate in pre-sales opportunities with Sales and Business Development teams to provide technical or industry knowledge toward work estimates and transition to the engagement delivery team as needed.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience


Essential


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven background in SaaS or consulting environments working across a range of products, modules, or solution areas, specifically within the health technology sector.
  • Solid understanding of HL7 messaging standards and their application in system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and how they translate into system configuration and integration requirements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills; able to ask insightful questions and gather high-quality information.
  • Highly organised, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working successfully across teams and departments.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to drive tasks and projects to completion with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and the ability to appropriately escalate issues when needed.

 

Advantageous


  • Knowledge of scripting languages and basic database administration.
  • Experience working within sexual health services or related clinical environments.
  • Exposure to APIs and experience working with API-based integrations.
  • Experience with the Mirth Integration Engine (NextGen Connect) or similar integration platforms.
