The Job Role

The Software Operations Specialist will provide efficient operational and administrative support to Westcoast Cloud partners.

This role requires strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, solutions-focused, and able to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Place software orders accurately with a target of 99% accuracy. Orders will be for various software vendors including Microsoft, Adobe, Foxit and Avast
  • Understanding various vendor software portals
  • Set up contracts, and maintain and update internal records
  • Chase outstanding customer orders
  • Log licence change requests and similar administrative tasks
  • Deal with customer order cancellations
  • Deal with general order enquiries and liaise with customers by phone and email
  • Complete backorder reports
  • Liaising with Software Licensing Specialists and other internal departments to complete orders
  • Keep knowledge up to date with all software agreement programs
  • Reporting to Software Licensing and Operations Manager

  • Previous administration experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • The ability to adapt during busy periods and prioritise where needed
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good grammatical and numerical skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Motivated
  • Good interpersonal skills
