Summary:
We are adding another Software Engineer to our growing Artist Tools team based in the UK/Europe! You'll help build, enhance and expand innovative tools for musicians around the globe, aiding in our vision for artists to be prolific at any level.
In this role, you’ll work on high-impact products like DistroVid, a video distribution service that connects to platforms like Apple Music, Vevo, and TikTok Music, as well as Mixea, an instant mastering service. Your technical and leadership skills will be crucial as you partner with other team members on large-scale projects and work closely with stakeholders to define product requirements.
You’ll play a key role in developing new features, writing clean, maintainable code, and reviewing code from team members to ensure quality. With experience in software architecture, you'll contribute to designs, work on specific features, and participate in product planning and team strategy.

Core Attributes:
- Passion for technology (e.g., personal projects, open-source involvement)
- Demonstrate clear communication within organization and teams
- Leads in projects within team, and work with stakeholders to define requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Located within the UK/European time zones to align with the Artist Tools team’s location
- Enthusiasm for music!
- Experience developing production level solutions in full-stack systems.
- Strong computer science fundamentals skills in algorithms and data structures.
- Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent work experience.
- JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, CSS, HTML, and languages like Java, PHP, Python, CFML
- Experience building production distributed systems on Amazon Web Services using systems like git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of test automation
