We’re hiring for a Software Developer to support our growing Technology team. To keep up with our growth in the UK and Ireland, we’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Application Engineering team, helping to deliver value into the business through the development, support and maintenance of our in-house Pension, Payroll and Benefit web applications. You will be working with a wide variety of technologies including Blazor, MVC, Web Forms and VB.Net.

We’re Looking For Someone With

  • Experience of several languages and techniques; our applications range from older offerings built on VB.Net and Web Forms to more modern offerings built on MVC, Blazor and React, with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
  • Azure DevOps
  • GitHub
  • A thorough understanding of recognised generic industry bodies of knowledge and specialist bodies of knowledge as necessary
  • Ability to apply the knowledge effectively in unfamiliar situations and actively maintains own knowledge and shares with others


Using These Skills, You’ll Be

  • Working to design, code, verify, test, document, amend and refactor complex tasks under general direction
  • Monitor and report on their progress identifying issues related to software development activities
  • Proposing practical solutions to resolve issues
  • Determining when issues should be escalated to a higher level
  • Working on a broad range of complex technical or professional activities, in a variety of contexts
  • Investigates, defines and resolves complex issues
  • Applies, facilitates, and develops creative thinking concepts or finds innovative ways to approach a deliverable
