Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer (Go) to join the Settlements Team of a fast-growing FinTech company revolutionizing SaaS payments. You will be working on critical systems that process hundreds of millions of dollars monthly, collaborating with a wide range of teams to deliver a reliable and scalable billing and payments infrastructure.


What you’ll do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain financially critical systems using Go, with some legacy PHP migration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Payments, Infosec, Platform (SRE), and Billing.
  • Implement scalable backend services and ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Design and execute testing strategies to maintain code quality.
  • Utilize DevOps practices, taking responsibility for deploying, supporting, and monitoring your code in production.
  • Maintain efficient and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities for code and process improvements, driving innovation.


Your superpowers:

  • Solid experience in backend development with Go (PHP experience is a bonus).
  • Experience designing and building scalable systems in a cloud-based environment (AWS preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to optimizing code and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • A passion for technology, payments, finance, and information security.
  • Comfortable with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
