We build experienced, dynamic and fractional teams that fit in like puzzle pieces – providing just the right knowledge and energy at the right time. We’re not your typical agency or a one-man show; we're a team of passionate professionals who eat, sleep, and breathe branding and marketing.

Our diverse team of experts covers all marketing mix elements, from performance and social media to CRO and web development and beyond and with over 100 brands under our belt, our Brand Hackers have a treasure trove of shared experiences. This wealth of knowledge fuels our creativity and gives us the edge.

We’re 4 years old and have grown from just 2 of us to 20+ people with knock-out case studies we’re really proud of and a serious growing reputation (even if we say so ourselves).

Beyond FMCG, we're building iconic challenger brands across Beauty, Luxury, Film, and more

- working with big challengers like Tony’s Chocolonely and emerging hot start-ups like Arc Saunas. From social management and content creation to influencer programs and strategy, our team tackles a wide range of briefs. To match our momentum, we're looking for a Social Lead to steer the team through our fast growth, and deliver standout social strategies and execution for our brands.

The Role: Social Lead

As our Social Lead, you’ll be responsible for defining, growing, and leading our social media offering – from organic content and influencer strategy to culture-led campaign development. You’ll lead a skilled team of in-house social media managers and freelance content specialists and work closely with our senior team and brands to deliver work that competes head-on with social-first agencies.

This is a role for someone who sees social as a core brand building tool – not just an executional channel, and who thrives on helping brands show up in culture in meaningful, impactful ways.

Key responsibilities:

Leadership & vision

  • Define and develop our social media product across organic, influencer, and community.
  • Lead and inspire a team of social managers, content creators, and freelance specialists.
  • Build a culture of creativity, high standards, and experimentation.
  • Create an unstoppable team culture, values, and vision that attracts and retains the best!

Client and commercial leadership

  • Serve as the strategic lead on key brand accounts, partnering with brands to shape their social presence and brand narrative.
  • Help evolve our social offer to stay ahead of the curve – from org design to formats to channel strategy to tools.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to grow social revenue and contribute to new business.
  • Represent Brand Hackers publicly through thought leadership, panels, or industry engagement.
  • Own the department P&L, understanding how decisions you make impact the financial health, performance and future sustainability of the department.

Strategic & campaign management

  • Lead the development of social-first growth strategies and build integrated campaign strategies that start with social and connect across the funnel for our biggest brands
  • Oversee the delivery of impactful, culture-driven content and campaigns with measurable business results.
  • Drive innovation and test-and-learn approaches to social channels and formats.

Team leadership & development

  • Mentor and develop team members to deliver the best work of their careers
  • Own and refine delivery processes and tools to ensure high-quality, efficient outputs
  • Oversee the operation of our content engine, driving agile, creative workflows in collaboration with other teams

Your skills & experience

  • Deep expertise in social media strategy and content, with a clear understanding of how brands show up in culture.
  • Strong experience managing and developing high-performing social teams of more than 10.
  • Proven experience working in an agency environment, with the ability to juggle multiple brands, stakeholders, and fast-paced deadlines without compromising on quality
  • Confident in leading strategic work, pitching and consulting with senior clients and stakeholders.
  • A passion and real proven track record driving highly effective, creative, content and the ability to push ideas to the next level.
  • Clear commercial understanding – you can see the big picture and deliver both brand and business impact.
  • Experienced with department-specific financials, including managing the department P&L, setting clear pricing models and understanding how to effectively negotiate rates with external providers to maintain project margins.
