With 10,600 employees, the Company's casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games and 3,800 hotel rooms. Upon completing the construction of a permanent casino facility in Chicago, Bally's will own and/or manage 15 casinos across 10 states. Bally’s also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.

Well, what about the team?

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to oversee the organic social media presence of our brands. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging content that aligns with each brand's voice.

In this 6 month fixed term contract, you’ll lead the always-on social media management, campaigns and projects (primarily focused on Facebook and Instagram). You should be comfortable analysing key metrics and reporting on performance, all while building strong stakeholder networks across the business.

So, what will you be doing?

  • Managing all social media channels for Bally’s UK brands, primarily on Facebook and Instagram alongside the existing Social Media Manager.
  • Ensuring all social activity is compliant with current legal considerations.
  • Moderating and engaging with our online communities, responding to comments and messages promptly.
  • Collaborating with teams including Brand, Performance Marketing and Product to ensure social content supports wider business objectives and drives business KPIs.
  • Crafting compelling social media content, and working with the Creative Studio to get your ideas developed by writing effective briefs.
  • Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on social media performance metrics to ensure the effectiveness of our strategies. Presenting these reports to key stakeholders across the business.
  • Remaining up to date with social media trends and best practice.
  • Using social media marketing tools such as Sprinklr, Live Reacting and have experience with
  • native platform tools and analytics
  • Supporting Head of Digital Content & Social in developing and implementing social media strategies.
  • Managing social media advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement.

And what are we looking for?

  • Have proven experience in a social media role within a complex matrix organisation.
  • Possess excellent understanding of social media platforms, their nuances and algorithms.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a creative mindset and a passion for storytelling and content creation.
  • Be able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to organise and effectively plan your work according to priorities.
  • Have a proven track record of delivering social media campaigns that drive business metrics.
  • Have passion, curiosity and motivation for the role and the ability to enthuse others.
  • Be an analytical thinker, using your findings to adjust your strategy accordingly.
  • Possess experience with social media advertising platforms.
  • Experience with editing software (e.g. Photoshop) is a bonus.
