Red Rover Interactive is an exciting new game development studio founded by industry veterans from renowned companies such as Funcom, Lockwood Publishing, Bohemia Interactive, Ubisoft Reflections, and more. We're on a mission to reimagine the multiplayer gaming landscape, with an emphasis on crafting groundbreaking survival experiences that champion player agency and drama.


The Role:


We are seeking a Social Media & Content Manager to assist in managing and growing our social media presence across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of social media trends and analytics. This role is perfect for someone looking to develop their skills in social media management and content creation within a fast-paced and supportive environment.


  • Develop, write, and curate engaging content for Red Rover Interactive's social media channels, including but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Act as a brand ambassador/player-forward ‘face’ for Red Rover Interactive and our games, bringing your own personal flair to your content and messaging.
  • Drive the creation of visual content such as graphics, short & long form videos in collaboration with the design team.
  • Collaborate with the Publishing & Marketing Lead to coordinate and develop campaigns and social media strategies.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement, comments, and messages, responding in a way that authentically represents Red Rover and resonates with the way our players talk.
  • Identify and maintain relationships with social media partners capitalizing on the latest trends.
  • Own social media reporting and insights to measure the success of campaigns and posts.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather content, collect and escalate player feedback and promote company-wide initiatives.


We are looking for someone who:


  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
  • Content creation skills and familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, or similar
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and digital content.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


In addition we expect you to:


  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or experience managing a successful personal brand or content channel.
  • Independent, self-starter, with creativity and a passion for the games industry.
  • Relevant games industry experience, streaming experience would be a plus.
