Recruitment Direct UK Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor for their Local Authority Client based in Aberdeen.

Role: Team Leader/ Site Supervisor

Hours: 35hrs per week, Monday to Friday

Our local authority Client is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee the supply of materials and supervision of a multi-skilled workforce delivering maintenance and contract works across both housing and non-housing stock.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the supply and distribution of materials from workshops to various work sites.
• Supervise a team of multi-skilled tradespeople across a range of building disciplines.
• Investigate concerns or complaints regarding service standards or work quality.
• Liaise with Council officers, contractors, specialist firms, and other bodies to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
• Attend meetings and contribute to the development and review of monitoring procedures.
  
  

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience working with main building trades.
• SMSTS Certification
• Good knowledge of social housing stock and associated construction methods.
• Sound understanding of building regulations, asbestos regulations, and current Health and Safety legislation.
• Ability to conduct and understand risk assessments and method statements.
• Strong IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Word.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
  
  

Desirable:

• Previous supervisory experience within a housing or maintenance setting.
