Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- Act as a business partner to Nu’s DVP Business Manager to manage a global business
- Lead annual budget process and monthly forecasts for P&L and balance sheet, including working capital
- Manage the monthly consolidation for the Nu business and related reporting requirements, including UK statutory requirements
- Ensure conformity with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and all Corporate policies
- Work closely with the corporate UK office on tax related topics
- Provide support and leadership of all internal and external audits
- Lead process improvements in month-end processes, FP&A and compliance
- Drive the organization to achieve short- and long-term business objectives
- Assist with ad hoc requests from the division or Corporate
- Report directly to the DVP BU Controller
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or ACCA a plus
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and working experience in Sarbanes-Oxley
- Minimum 10 years in controlling and accounting experience, including as a Uk Qualified Accountant with experience in Management Accounts
- Very organized and strong analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and prior HFM experience a plus
