Site Assistant x 2

SALARY: Band C SCP 5 - 8 £24,790 - £25,992 per annum

HOURS: 37 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We are looking for 2 Site Assistant’s to assist in the maintenance, cleanliness and security of the school premises and site, ensuring a safe working environment. This role will be based across 3 sites within our Trust - Shireland Collegiate Academy, Shireland Technology Primary and First Steps Nursery.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Open and close the Academy as required
• Set up and pack away tables/chairs for mock and public examinations
• Switch alarms on/off as and when required
• Assist with general site activities/tasks e.g. painting, repairs, maintenance
• Set up equipment/resources as and when required e.g. for shows, events in our Sport Hall
• Following H+S procedures to ensure site safety e.g. inclement weather
• Ensuring site cleanliness e.g. empty bins, cleaning spillages etc.
• Undergo any further training where necessary e.g. fire safety, manual handling etc.
