About the Role

We're now looking for a Class one Shunter Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Shunter driver for yard shunting using tug vehicles.
• Driving between main yard and trailer yard loading bays.
• Yard / Boat shunting.
• To be legally compliant with working time directive and EU Driving hours legislation.
• To comply with local legislation requirements and company policies and procedures.

Required Skills

• Valid Driving License C+E.
• Driver CPC certification.
• Previous experience of delivery driving desirable.
• Good knowledge of the geographical area desirable.
• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

• Previous experience of delivery driving desirable.

Pay range and compensation package

Salary: £16.16 per hour. Pay Rate: 16.16 plus 10% premium to be added on. Total number of weekly/annual hours: 45. Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time). Shift patterns: evenings/ nights 6pm- 3am
