- Providing specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues / subcontractors
- Ensuring contracts are compliant and that positive behaviours are embedded in the day to day works of our operational teams
- Communicate & promote a positive SHEQ ethos and culture
- Guide and advice projects on the implementation of business management system, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct investigations for allocated projects, conducting robust root cause analysis, reporting back on findings.
- Lead and support the continuous improvement of SHEQ performance.
- Proactively monitor SHEQ reporting system for allocated projects regarding performance such as quality inspections
- Support and advice to subcontractors and suppliers as required..
- Participate in regular meetings, actively being involved with input, best bestice, innovation.
This is primarily a site-based role which will require a SHEQ professional with previously construction / property services sector experience, in addition to a full UK driving license and vehicle for work purposes. You will also possess the following:
- Understanding of health and safety issues as they relate to the property maintenance space, and ability to implement processes in line with industry standards
- Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and subcontractors; we are looking for a team player who can add value to our operational teams
- CMIOSH or equivalent (or be working towards this)
