Job Title: Service Transition Analyst

Location: Preston or Frimley. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 depending on skills and experience

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the ITIL service design and transition functions within a fast paced Enterprise IT capability
  • Be accountable for service transition activities on behalf of multiple projects, ensuring effective co-ordination and communication between project managers, programme leads and service stakeholders
  • Running operational readiness reviews prior to project go-live, ensuring a smooth transition to live service
  • Produce required service design and transition reports and documentation
  • Continually adapt to business requirements and demand, enabling the business to meet its objectives
  • Contribute to the continual review and improvement of Service Transition tools and processes. Reporting on projects, releases, and deliveries in Service Transition

Essential

Your skills and experiences:

  • General knowledge of IT Service Management and experience in a similar role
  • ITIL qualifications desirable; training and sponsorship available for suitable candidates without certification
  • Familiarity with Service Transition principles and related artefacts
  • Proficient at engaging with service owners, project managers, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and build trusted relationships
  • Effective meeting facilitation and workshop leadership skills
  • Proven track record of efficient organisation and clear communication
  • Skilled in producing high-quality documentation using Microsoft Office tools

Desirable

  • ITIL qualification
  • Experience in a previous IT service transition or design role

The Service Operations Team

You will be joining a professional and dynamic team, which is going through a period of sustained growth with an Enterprise international agenda.
