Your New Role
This role controls or operates machinery or equipment to assist with Inspection, servicing, repair and packing of Survival Suits.
What You Can Expect From The Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
Air Test and Laundry
- Ensure all company/customer owned assets are booked into CSAM on arrival.
- Responsible for the correct routing of assets through service facility.
- Strip, wash and dry assets as required.
- Perform air test on survival suits to ensure there are no leaks.
- Carry out patching on suits if required.
- Preparation of survival suits for major repair.
- Carry out the gluing of suit components.
- Visual/Final inspection of suits.
- Responsible for accurate completion of service inspection cards.
- Preparing stock requirements for remote sites.
- Updating company computer system with the necessary information on a daily basis.
- Carries out operational tasks to Survitec standard, ensuring work is completed right first time and flagging any instances of variation or failure to meet standard
- Helps to maintain and company assets carrying out standard preparation, inspection or maintenance tasks, following strict, detailed instruction
- Accurately follows mandatory work instructions, including the use of personal protective equipment where relevant, to actively safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of self and others
