Job Purpose: To coordinate all group events, including but not limited to corporate events, group leisure and celebration events, corporate Cookery School, weddings, shooting parties, Bivouac events, and any other group event or inquiry, ensuring all clients are consistently dealt with in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. As we expand our team to meet growing demand, we are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Wedding and Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

As we expand our team to meet growing demand, we are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Wedding and Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning and execution of weddings and special events from conception to completion.
- Work closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budgets, ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
- Develop comprehensive event timelines and schedules, ensuring smooth coordination with vendors, venues, and team members.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and maintaining clear, professional communication.
- Build strong relationships with clients to foster trust and ensure satisfaction throughout the planning process.
- Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain exceptional service standards.
- Mentor and support junior coordinators and assistants, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
- Assign tasks and oversee team contributions to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Provide feedback and training to develop team members’ skills and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with other departments and colleagues
- Negotiate and coordinate with other members of the wider Events team to ensure quality services and timely delivery.
- Stay informed of industry trends to suggest innovative ideas and vendor partnerships.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Present clients with detailed cost estimates and manage changes effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of all event-related expenses and invoices.
- Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring seamless execution and quick resolution of any unforeseen challenges.
- Manage setup, coordination, and teardown while maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, and staff during events.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in event planning, with a focus on weddings or similar high-profile events.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field (preferred).
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Proficiency in event planning software and tools.
- Creativity and problem-solving aptitude.
- Previous experience with Rezlynx or similar PMS
- Proficiency in Microsoft office
