Equans is looking for Site Managers to join our team across Harrow, Hertford, and Enfield, working on live occupied social housing projects including retrofit, cladding, and decarbonisation schemes. This is a full-time permanent role. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle, bonus and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Manage day-to-day refurbishment or retrofit works across occupied housing sites
  • Lead a site team of up to 20 including Assistant Site Managers, Operatives, Subcontractors, and RLOs
  • Ensure effective site setup and compliance with all Health & Safety (H&S), quality and programme requirements
  • Monitor programme progress, report delays, and maintain high standards of work
  • Develop working relationships with residents, client reps, and internal teams
  • Manage site documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and H&S files
  • Oversee site logistics, including welfare facilities, security, and cleanliness
  • Conduct inspections, quality checks, and safety audits
  • Respond to resident feedback and manage complaints in partnership with the RLO team
  • Ensure full compliance with all SHEQ procedures, permits, and public protection measures

Who are you?

  • Experienced Site Manager with background in occupied refurbishment, cladding, or retrofit works
  • Able to lead multidisciplinary teams across housing projects
  • Skilled in liaising with residents, clients, and internal departments
  • Strong understanding of social housing processes and resident engagement
  • Technically proficient and organised
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including MS Project
  • Holds SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and a full valid UK Driving Licence

*This role is not suitable for candidates with only new build experience.*
