About the Role
To support increasing expansion and demand for Trueform’s award winning products and services, we require a high calibre Senior Sales Manager to grow our rail signage and infrastructure division. As the Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships and driving sales within Train Operating Companies, Rail Contractors, Rail Consultants, PTEs and related partners. Focusing combinations of off the shelf and bespoke, customer specific solutions. The role requires significant understanding of customer requirements and specifications in order to influence and ensure success. We are looking for someone preferably with an engineering or product sales background, or similar. You will take ownership of the sector, bring drive to the approach, matched with proven sales skills. Trueform will provide comprehensive product training and support. You will be joining a small friendly team and work closely with a variety of highly skilled and experienced managers and directors, be hungry for success and career progression.
Responsibilities & Duties
Your main responsibilities and duties will include:
• To identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Develop winning strategies and participate in the preparation of proposals for prospective new business
• Take a proactive role in closing new business opportunities and provide sales leadership
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients through effective account management
• Promote Trueform’s designs, design and manufacturing capabilities, including organising and attending events
• Collaborate with other business units to pursue opportunities for the benefit of the entire company
• Conduct all client dealings with professionalism, integrity, and high ethical standards
• Provide prospect reporting, forecasts, client feedback, and other necessary information for business planning
• Utilise Client Relationship Management Database effectively
• Develop proactive client account plans and winning opportunity strategies
• Act as the principal client advocate for assigned clients and represent their voice in internal meetings
• Implement appropriate screening processes for new business opportunities
