The Opportunity

You will provide pre-sales technical support for EMEA customers, leading the pre-sales activity for the assigned accounts and partnering with the account manager to meet the business objectives of the assigned territories.

You will use your network knowledge of Wireline and 4G/5G Wireless access technologies and in-depth technical knowledge of Sandvine products to position and sell, while providing technical leadership to customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations (assist the sales team in positioning Sandvine products to meet customer needs and create detailed design and implementation specifications for Sandvine solutions).

You may create proof of concept, build a small application or dashboard based to demonstrate the value of our solution.

The Job

  • Act as Sandvine pre-sales prime towards the assigned customers
  • Act as the specialist on Sandvine products and solutions towards customers
  • Represent customer and articulate the customer requirement to Sandvine R&D/PLM team
  • Good knowledge of Wireline and 4G/5G Wireless access technologies
  • Good knowledge routing and switching protocols
  • Able to prepare build-of-material for the customer
  • Acts as a POC specialist and can complete all aspects of a POC at an expert level as needed to ensure a successful POC
  • Provide input and drive completion of the technical sections in an RFx response
  • An expert level consultant and trusted advisor to field teams and customers
  • Helps manage the customer escalations and help solve difficult customer issues when R&D and Support cannot progress through the issue effectively

What Skills You Bring

  • Good knowledge of 4G, 5G packet core networks
  • Good knowledge of Wireline Access Network
  • Good knowledge of NFV and Cloud
  • Good knowledge of Data Analytics
  • Good knowledge of routing and switching protocols
  • An expert in solution architecture that could be used by Professional Services, PLM and R&D teams in understanding the proposed solution
  • An expert in the design of customer solutions with the capability to create low level designs (though that is not the job role)
  • Excellent sales presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent Networking knowledge and provide best representation of Sandvine products towards customers
  • Excellent Analytics knowledge and be the champion of Sandvine analytics towards customers
  • Good knowledge of Proof of Concept, proposals, deployments

Desired

  • SFDC experience
  • High energy, self-starter, with strong multi-tasking abilities, and the ability to work independently
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience creating strategic techno commercial plans
  • Ability to write clear and concise value proposition statements
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to create and edit sales materials and presentations
  • Ability to coordinate, organize and present product demonstrations and other events
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite
