The Senior Data and Regulatory Analyst is responsible for data
management and analysis in support of clients’ and prospects’ energy
management needs. The Analyst provides administrative support to our
energy services staff, primarily responsible for sales and service to our
clients on a variety of projects.
The role will require the candidate to keep abreast of changes in regulated charges, taxes and levies in the UK, and to keep Kinect’s systems and staff appraised of these. Working with the Operations team they will also conduct tenders, provide budgets and manage queries for customers, primarily in the UK, but also across a number of key countries within EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Data and Regulatory Analyst is responsible for data

Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring data is updated in Kinect systems in a timely manner.
- Producing an appropriate quarterly report for the UK
- Explaining regulated charges and changes to internal and external stakeholders.
- Delivering tenders, budgets and query resolution to agreed timescales.
- Working with the rest of the team to ensure other key deliverables are met.
- Ideally someone with 2-3 years of experience within the energy industry, who understands how the regulated charges work in the UK. The candidate will probably have worked for a Supplier or other Industry participant, such as a DNO or ESO.
- A degree with a mathematical background may be useful but not essential.
- Knowledge of Python/VBA would be advantageous.
- The individual will be part of a growing team that is representing World Kinect within the energy industry across EMEA.
- A working knowledge of any European languages would be a bonus.
