Your journey
As a Talent Executive, you’ll attract the top talent from candidate pools to ensure the positions are filled with the best possible candidates. You’ll source and attract new candidates by using databases, job boards, etc. You’ll liaise with the Nursery Managers to arrange nursery-based interviews and work trials. You’ll get feedback from the Managers on the candidate’s performance and relay this information to the candidate. You’ll be required to assist with recruitment drives and attend internal and external events. You’ll develop and learn from the Head of Talent to ensure you are progressing in your skills and abilities for your future with Fennies.

- Implementing the recruitment strategy by identifying, sourcing, screening and selecting the best talent for the role by utilising your knowledge of the industry and staying abreast of current trends
- Assessing a candidate's suitability for a role and verifying the relevant reference and background checks
- Conducting interviews and giving feedback in a confident manner with your strong communication skills
- Giving feedback from interviews and negotiating salaries, and finalising the arrangements between the Nursery Manager and the candidate by building relations
- Maintaining complete records of hires and interviews and providing the necessary data to the Head of Talent and the HR department
- Promoting Fennies' reputation as 'the best nursery group' to work for the fuel Fennies' growth and gain a competitive advantage
- Experience in the recruiting process, interviewing (both phone and in person), and sourcing candidates
- Strong IT skills and being an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Completed your higher education, such as A-Level or equivalent. Have a minimum grade 4 or grade C in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
- The best practice for safeguarding, health & safety, inclusion and diversity and confidentiality, in addition to any other relevant employment legislation
- How to prioritise multiple tasks through your organisation, time management and strong decision-making skills to meet deadlines and targets to succeed in your team
- Onboarding staff correctly in a paid induction to ensure you feel confident and supported from day one of your career at Fennies
- Hiring friendly and supportive team members who want to succeed together to meet targets and hit KPIs
