Are you an experienced project manager looking for a new challenge? Suffolk County Council is seeking a Senior Project Manager for HR Digital Transformation. This is a fixed-term, one-year role based in Ipswich, offering a competitive salary of £45,380 - £55,634 per annum (pro rata if part-time).

The Role
As the Senior Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our HR Digital Transformation.Working within the HR service, the main purpose of this role is to create a robust, end-to-end process in Oracle Fusion that ensures accurate establishment data, validates staffing budget allocations, and improves management and forecasting of staff costs. You'll oversee a full data cleanse of existing establishment data, implement comprehensive reporting tools, and collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and IT departments.

The Role

Key responsibilities:
- Plan and manage all aspects of the project, including technical deliverables.
- Direct and manage project resources, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Identify and manage project risks, developing suitable contingency plans.
- Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to support business case development.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to deliver the project.
- Monitor and report on the progress of agreed benefits realisation.
- Design, test, and implement reports for visibility and decision-making.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of project management methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale IT projects.
- Ability to elicit customer requirements and design effective solutions.
- Strong risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus.
- PRINCE II/Agile Coaching/Scrum Master certifications are advantageous.
