Role summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our nuclear consultancy team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for nuclear projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide innovative and safe engineering solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead mechanical engineering design, analysis, and assessment of nuclear systems, components, and equipment.
  • Develop engineering solutions for new-build, operational support, and decommissioning projects within the nuclear sector.
  • Perform mechanical integrity assessments, stress analysis, and finite element modeling (FEM) of critical components.
  • Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements, industry codes (ASME, RCC-M, PED, etc.), and safety guidelines.
  • Oversee and review mechanical specifications, drawings, reports, and calculations.

Formal Qualifications Or Training

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent educational background.
  • 6+ Years' experience working as a Mechanical Engineer
  • Nuclear experience
