Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client is recognised nationally and internationally for their expertise in specialist Mechanical & Electrical Turnkey Systems across a wide range of engineering market sectors. They are now seeking to supplement key technical role at there Barnsley Office and Specialist Manufacturing and Machining facility.

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Desgin Engineer


Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 DOE

Working
Hours: TBC

This role will include:

• Production of conceptual designs, supported by relevant calculations and analysis, throughout the process of the production of detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Working on design projects from tender stage through to the manufacture, installation and commissioning of the equipment.
• Liasising with other engineers, shop floor staff and customers throughout the projects.
  
  

Experience required / beneficial:

• 3D CAD package such as SolidWorks / Inventor is an advantage.
• A working knowledge of MathCad would be beneficial, as would a knowledge of Finite Element Analysis.
