Job Summary

Working in a team led by our Assistant Director Control Environment, the Continuous Improvement Senior Managers will play a critical role in facilitating the delivery of tangible improvements to processes, systems and ways of working across Homes England. You will be joining our newly formed team committed to enhancing continuous improvement culture and making positive change to how our internal and external services are delivered.

This is a rare chance to deliver improvements and shape future ways of working in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose. Working with key stakeholders and a professional team you will ensure efficient, consistent and effective services are delivered and have the opportunity to build and grow the continuous improvement culture across Homes England.

The roles will work with colleagues of all grades from across all areas of delivery facing and corporate functions. There are lots of ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to enhance day to day delivery through bringing innovative solutions to the table.

Job Description

You'll be comfortable working with a multitude of different stakeholders supporting them to identify and implement improvement opportunities, ultimately driving rapid improvement cycles across the Agency. You will have an inquisitive and ‘can-do’ mindset with exceptional engagement and influencing skills.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as an Agency.

As an experienced continuous improvement professional you’ll understand how to manage colleagues, drive change and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.

Essential

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Significant experience in working as part of multi-disciplinary teams, delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional engagement, relationship management and influencing skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders – selling the CI culture and success stories.
  • A positive, enquiring and learning “can-do” mindset to see beyond problems and ensure that improvement initiatives are critiqued and effectively delivered at pace.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in related subject (e.g. business management, change management, operations management, process improvement), or demonstrable equivalent experience.
