We have an exciting opening for an Infrastructure Engineer to join the Joint Multi-National Interoperability Assurance Network team. In this role, you’ll help provide a secure testing and validation environment that supports national and international defence and industry requirements.

This role requires the individual to be on-site in Salisbury up to three days per week. Due to the nature of the environment, candidates must either hold an active DV clearance or be eligible to obtain one.

What you will be doing:
- Provide 3rd-line IT support, including building, configuring, and deploying desktops and laptops. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure all devices meet business and security requirements.
- Carry out system administration tasks across Linux and VMware virtualisation platforms.
- Support servers and endpoints with anti-virus, security patching, and backups using VEEAM and NAS solutions.
- Document all system changes, installations, and configurations across the environment.
- Manage and troubleshoot network monitoring, performance, and automation tools to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Deploy and maintain containerised workloads with Docker alongside existing virtual infrastructure.
- Experience in administering VMware virtualised environments.
- Proven skills in Linux server installation and configuration.
- Familiarity with network-attached storage and data centre hardware (racking, cabling, etc).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Remote Desktop services.
