About The Role

We're on the lookout for a dedicated Senior Improvement Leader who can inspire positive change and drive efficiency in our manufacturing operations. You will be at the forefront of managing and leading a vibrant team, transforming our large-scale production processes. Your role isn't just to manage – it's to innovate, mentor, and excel. Your responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation and adherence to site EHS & Quality Compliance standards, ensuring behaviours and practices across the Factory are in line with site procedures.
  • Develop the Cell capabilities to ensure the shift by shift production performance levels can be achieved. Monitoring and pro-actively dealing with performance losses through a continuous improvement approach using the Reckitt Production System, identification of top losses and trends to be addressed.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the Factory leading to improved KPI’s and having a positive impact on the Factory budget and Site P&L.
  • Establish strong working relationships between the Improvement Cell Leaders and Shift Management Teams, site cross functional teams to ensure ways of working are established to enable effective production execution and performance levels.
  • Use the Reckitt Production System to drive the CI approach & capabilities of the Cells through all levels. Establishing ‘Best Practice’ and sharing with the wider site and Reckitt Supply.

The experience we're looking for

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent with 3-5 years experience in manufacturing roles or HNC / HND with 3-5 years manufacturing production management experience.
  • 3-5 years experience in a FMCG operation.
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification and knowledge and application of UK statutory requirements.
  • Leadership qualities, ability to motivate others and demonstrate strong team working and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Must be a confident decision maker with the ability to organise and analyse many inputs into a clear plan.
  • Good IT skills including familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, working knowledge of ERP system e.g. SAP.
  • Achievement focussed and able to work in a direct and pressurised environment.
  • Tenacious and tough-minded.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and with the commitment to complete challenges that are started.
