An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Imaging Science team!

About The Role

Our Imaging Scientists apply methods and algorithms for processing digital images, and research new methods to advance Perspectum’s product offerings. You will collaborate in research projects, and lead in the development and validation of prototypes, and translation of these prototypes into products in collaboration with a wide variety of teams.

Key duties include researching and implementing imaging science algorithms, writing and reviewing technical reports and algorithm specifications and contributing to product development, research collaborations and grant applications. As a senior member of the team, you will also have responsibility for guiding and supporting team members.

About You

We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in coding, analysis and documentation, and who has excellent communication skills.

To be considered you will have:

  • a PhD in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent technical experience.
  • Strong foundation in mathematics/sciences.
  • Experience in prototype coding (MATLAB, Python), medical imaging, AI/machine learning, and algorithm validation.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.

Experience in software engineering, algorithmic validation and computational image analysis would be beneficial, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.
