Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior IICS Developer / Data Integration Lead to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of hands-on experience in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and SQL using PostgreSQL, with a strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and demonstrated team leadership capabilities. The role involves working closely with business and technical stakeholders to design, develop, and implement robust data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable data integration solutions using Informatica IICS.

Write, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries and stored procedures in PostgreSQL.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring best practices are followed.

Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the ETL/data integration pipelines.

Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance throughout the lifecycle of data projects.

Document technical designs, processes, and best practices.

Mandatory Skills

Minimum 6 years of experience in Informatica IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services).

Strong SQL development skills, especially using PostgreSQL.

Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL workflows, and performance optimization.

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Proven team leadership or team coordination experience.

Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)

Experience in working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for ETL deployments.

Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and GDPR compliance.

Work Environment

Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile tools.

Hybrid Work Model – 3 days per week onsite at the Edinburgh office.

Collaborative, fast-paced, and agile development environment.
