- Design and develop control logic for hybrid powertrain systems
- Specify and write functional and technical requirements for internal development or external suppliers
- Implement control logic using Simulink and generate code for controllers
- Develop system-level control specifications
- Create and test control algorithms in simulation and real-time environments
- Set up and maintain a verification platform using Speedgoat hardware
- Perform testing, validation, and debugging of control systems
- Write and maintain detailed test reports and documentation
- Strong knowledge of control systems engineering principles
- Proficiency in embedded C programming for real-time control systems
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink and automated code generation tools
- Experience in implementing and verifying real-time control software
- Proficiency in specifying and documenting software and system requirements
- A systems thinking mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in hybrid-electric aircraft or automotive systems
- Knowledge of automation testing frameworks
- Familiarity with embedded C code generation from Simulink
- A passion for sustainable aviation technology
