Key Responsibilities

  • Senior technicians work with workshop manager in day to day running of the harness workshop.
  • Assisting with complex, first time builds and prototypes.
  • Picking lineside stock parts required for the assembly.
  • Raising all build related issues, deviations and continuous improvement opportunities with your line manager.
  • Providing guidance and advice to trainee technicians.
  • Keeping high standards of housekeeping with regards to work area, documentation, tools and products.
  • Carrying out line inspections.
  • Carrying out any duties as required by the company to ensure a quality product and service is delivered to customers on time in full.
  • Following all procedures and processes to meet day to day requirements of the business as well as quality and health and safety standards and requirements.
  • Achieving effective continuity of agreed deadlines through flexible working patterns.
  • Actively participating in training activities provided by the company to ensure all high-quality build standards are met and continuously improved.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Previous extensive experience across multiple OEM and system 25 harnesses (motorsport/aerospace)
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Cirris or another electrical harness testing software experience
