As our Senior Dosimetrist – Specialist MR Planning, you’ll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge cancer care through MR-guided radiotherapy. Based at our Guildford centre, you’ll be responsible for the treatment planning service on our MRIdian MR Linac and conventional Linac platforms, ensuring our patients receive exceptional, personalised care.

As our Senior Dosimetrist – Specialist MR Planning, you’ll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge cancer care through MR-guided radiotherapy. Based at our Guildford centre, you’ll be responsible for the treatment planning service on our MRIdian MR Linac and conventional Linac platforms, ensuring our patients receive exceptional, personalised care.

What You'll Do
- Lead and deliver patient dosimetry and treatment planning services at our Guildford centre, ensuring timely and high-quality plans.
- Develop and contribute to innovative MR-based treatment planning pathways.
- Manage and coordinate local dosimetry schedules and patient planning processes.
- Collaborate with local and network-wide teams to ensure a seamless and efficient planning experience for patients.
- Provide expert support to Clinical Oncologists, Radiographers, and Physicists during all phases of planning and treatment.
- Perform complex planning tasks including image fusion, contouring, inverse IMRT, VMAT planning and adaptive workflows.
- Assist in training clinical staff and ensuring robust plan checking and compliance with quality standards.
- Experience and skills:
- A strong background in conventional radiotherapy treatment planning.
- Experience with MR-guided radiotherapy, ideally with MR Linac systems.
- Proficiency in multimodality imaging (MR, CT, PET-CT) and adaptive workflows.
- Experience with SABR/SRS techniques.
- Ability to lead, mentor and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Eligible for registration with HCPC, AHCS or equivalent.
- A relevant degree in radiography, dosimetry, clinical technology or related field.
- Desirable: MSc in a radiotherapy-related discipline.
- Willingness to travel across GenesisCare centres and work flexibly, including some out-of-hours planning support.
- Comfortable supporting CT scanning, mask creation, IGRT review and liaising across disciplines to resolve complex patient planning needs.
