We are looking for a Senior Digital Project Manager to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

  • Experience in taking full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of a number of large-scale complex projects, utilising both internal and external suppliers.
  • Demonstratable skills in effective project control, change control, risk management, ensuring testing processes are maintained, using data to respond appropriately and develop solutions.
  • Experience of managing complex external dependencies that have required significant planning and prioritising in order to ensure pace and quality of delivery is maintained
  • Concise communication with the team and stakeholders. Explaining complex issues in a way that is easy to understand and influencing Senior level decision making.
  • Experience in identifying appropriate development for both themselves and their team to improve the delivery.

You and your role

As a Senior Digital Project Manager, you will be working on a number of complex end-to-end digital transformation projects, ensuring project control, risk identification & management, project reporting and stakeholder engagement. As a senior member of the team, you will be lending your extensive experience and skills to guide, support and coach a team of project managers.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £66,058

Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to £19,000 per year.

Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days and increasing by one day after 5 years, and up to 31 day after 10 years.

You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
