Where does this role fit in?

• You will be a key member of the Digital and Strategic Change team, reporting to the Head of Data. You will work across the business, developing dashboards, reports, and insights that support decision-making. You will also play a vital role in data governance and ensuring high-quality data across the organisation.
• As a line manager to Data Analysts, you’ll provide guidance, coaching, and support to help them succeed.

Must Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics.
• Hands-on expertise with Power BI and SQL.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills – making data accessible to all.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• A passion for mentoring and supporting junior data professionals, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
  
  

Nice to have skills (but not essential!):

• Familiarity with Python or R.
• Knowledge of predictive modelling or machine learning.
• Experience in the housing or social enterprise sector.
  
  

What are the pay and benefits? 

• This salary for this role is fixed at £58,158 for a 37 hour, full time, permanent position
• Flexible working policies – this role would be both home and office based with time spent in our Newport, Cardiff and Swansea office.
