Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Lead strategic sales initiatives by proactively pursuing new bids and pricing opportunities, ensuring on-time delivery and identifying avenues for business growth.
- Own and optimize the customer order book, overseeing accurate sales order processing, purchase order review, and seamless buy/sell transactions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key clients, balancing day-to-day operational support with long-term strategic planning.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, shaping order book strategy and managing complex customer requirements with a forward-thinking approach.
- Ensure rigorous compliance across all customer transactions, collaborating closely with Export Trade Compliance and internal teams to uphold regulatory standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to synchronize delivery schedules and manage customer expectations, driving excellence in service and operational performance.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in customer service within manufacturing or engineering sectors, with a track record of managing challenging customer interactions.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset, eager to learn and drive business growth aligned with company standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with SAP or Salesforce is a distinct advantage.
- A proactive, solution-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and embraces continuous development.
