The Video team is part of the Brand Studio ‘Center of Excellence’ within Marketing at Bain. It conceptualizes and produces high-performing video content for external and internal audiences.

 

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM 

 

The Senior Creative Producer is a leadership role that requires a track record of managing creative staff, expert storytelling ability, strength in content strategy, and a confident understanding of how to apply brand principles through video.

 

The role reports to the Global Executive Producer, Video.

 

Role Summary:

 

As a recognised video subject matter expert, the Senior Creative Producer leads the strategic and creative development of content that reflects the Bain brand and resonates with our audiences. A key focus of the role is harnessing emerging technologies, especially Gen-AI, to elevate storytelling, streamline workflows, and drive creative innovation.

 

The Senior Creative Producer applies structured problem-solving and strategic thinking to deliver data-informed, audience-led content across rapidly evolving platforms. They partner closely with stakeholders across the firm and foster a collaborative team culture that upskills junior talent and pushes creative boundaries.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Produce and direct videos (40%)

  • End-to-end ownership of multiple simultaneous complex, high-profile video projects – delivering on time and on budget
  • Write scripts and treatments, balancing creative storytelling with strategic messaging
  • Direct a range of talent on camera - from senior executives to new recruits - coaching confident, authentic performances both in-person and remotely
  • Develop and guide Employee-Generated Content (EGC), ensuring it is engaging and aligned with brand and business objectives
  • Lead and inspire internal and external production teams, fostering a high-performance, inclusive creative culture

 

Creative Direction (20%)

  • Translate business needs into bold, audience-led creative concepts
  • Prepare high-quality treatments and pitch decks and persuasively present creative solutions to senior-level stakeholders 
  • Provide thought partnership to the EPs, helping to define the tone of voice and brand application for video
  • Identify, source, and onboard diverse external partners to elevate creative capabilities

 

Leadership (20%)

  • Directly manage, mentor and coach team members, providing regular feedback and growth opportunities
  • Act as a thought leader in the creative space, sharing trends, case studies, and examples to inspire the broader marketing department
  • Represent Video in firmwide initiatives and cross-functional working groups
  • Champion inclusive team behaviours, firm policies and model leadership aligned with Bain values

 

Strategy / Operations (10%)

  • Prioritize incoming requests and guide project triage conversations, using a structured approach to determine impact and resourcing
  • Champion the integration of AI and other emerging technologies to improve creative output and workflow efficiency
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation of team best practices
  • Monitor performance metrics to generate insights that inform future creative planning

 

Stakeholder Management (10%)

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders across regions and business units, navigating ambiguity and facilitating alignment 
  • Direct scoping and consult calls to shape clear, realistic creative briefs. Drive consensus on clear project objectives and the steps required to drive desired outcomes
  • Communicate project status and manage feedback loops diplomatically and efficiently
  • Oversee data-driven project post-mortems and share insights to influence future campaigns

 

 

ABOUT YOU


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Experience: 10+ years in a senior-level creative or production role, ideally within agency, broadcast, or corporate content environments. Must have experience leading a staff team. Must be able to demonstrate AI integration to drive both creativity and efficiency in video production. 


Creative and Strategic Expertise

  • Expert at translating business and brand strategy into distinctive audience-led creative concepts that bring complex ideas to life in an engaging way
  • Applies structured problem-solving to creative challenges, balancing ambition with audience needs, business goals, and resourcing constraints
  • Consistently applies brand identity and tone of voice across varied formats and platforms
  • Uses data to inform creative direction and ensure storytelling is results-driven 

Technical and AI Fluency

  • Proactively embeds AI tools into ideation, scripting, production, and post-production workflows
  • Familiar with on-set and remote recording equipment requirements and creative production platforms (Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Express, Iconik, Smartsheet, Riverside, Kapost)
  • Brings hands-on experience across the full production spectrum - from EGC to high-end studio productions
  • Comfortable bridging creative ideas with technical execution through the entire production lifecycle

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Role models inclusive leadership, offering mentorship, coaching, and growth opportunities for team members
  • Shares trends and case studies to inspire others; represents Video in firmwide initiatives and cross-functional groups
  • Builds deep, trusted relationships with stakeholders, confidently shaping briefs, guiding feedback loops and steering towards high-impact outcomes
  • Balances giving direction with taking feedback; collaborates effectively in a remote-first, distributed team

Executional Excellence

  • Leads multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget while managing competing priorities
  • Adapts quickly and calmly to evolving scopes, timelines, and creative requirements
  • Directs both in-person and remote talent confidently, including senior leaders
  • Maintains a high bar for quality and consistency, both in their own work and while reviewing others’ output, with a critical eye for framing, pacing, brand application, and polish
  • Champions legal, compliance, and copyright best practices throughout production
