About the Role:

As a Senior Communications Officer, you’ll lead the development of strategic communications across external and internal channels, ensuring Nottingham City Council’s priorities are effectively communicated. You’ll be at the heart of engaging diverse communities and stakeholders through clear, compelling content.


Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Drive communication strategies that align with our goals and engage key stakeholders.

- Content Creation: Oversee high-quality content production for digital, social, and print channels.

- Media Relations: Manage media inquiries and proactively enhance the Council's public image.

- Campaign Management: Design and evaluate communications campaigns that drive behaviour change and support Council initiatives.

- Collaboration: Work alongside senior leadership to align efforts across departments.
