  • 37.5 Hours per week / Week 1 (Monday - Friday 1100-1900), Week 2 (Monday -Wednesday 0700-1400, Saturday 0700-1900, Sunday 0700-1400). Alternate weekends off.
  • £14.00 per hour + any enhancements
  • On-site parking, complimentary meal on shift
  • Location is GU21 4BY

As a Senior Chef at Sodexo in Nuffield Hospital Woking, you’ll play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals that support patient wellbeing and enhance the overall dining experience. You’ll be responsible for managing your own section of the kitchen, ensuring every dish meets our high standards. What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quality standards
  • Contribute to menu planning and recipe development
  • Support, guide, and train junior chefs and kitchen staff
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness, COSHH, and fire safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment

What You Bring

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ experience as a chef
  • Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for cooking
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy kitchen
  • Clear, respectful communication and a strong team spirit
