The role of Senior Chartered / Senior Associate Building Surveyor will involve working within our Building Consultancy team, supporting an array of projects and clients. The role of Senior Chartered / Senior Associate Building Surveyor will involve working within our Building Consultancy team, supporting an array of projects and clients. This opportunity is ideal for a competent surveyor looking to leverage their extensive experience and contribute to the development of Hollis.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of multi-skilled building surveying instructions across dilapidations, license to alter, tenant alterations, schedules of condition, and project management (with flexibility to pick up a variety as you see fit)
- Take ownership of a healthy pipeline of commercial real estate projects across various sectors like offices, retail and industrial
- Provide professional advice on property and construction, which includes acquisition and disposal.
- Prepare and negotiate schedules of dilapidations for landlords and tenants.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and guide junior surveyors.
- MRICS
- Experienced with the delivery of multi-skilled building surveying instructions
- Experience within the commercial industrial, office and retail sectors (others also beneficial)
- Strong report-writing skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to provide strategic advice.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence.
