Are you a commercially minded marketer with a sound business understanding and a creative genius? Are you passionate about technology and how to take products to market? If so, this role could be for you! This exciting position is responsible for delivering all Lenovo UK Irelands B2B channel/trade marketing activities across various product lines, ensuring high engagement and loyalty with channel partners.

Responsibilities

  • Channel Engagement Strategy: Develop and drive the channel engagement, enablement, retention, and recruitment strategy.
  • Co-Marketing Plans: Collaborate with marketing teams of distributors and resellers to build quarterly co-marketing, MDF, and communication plans.
  • Business Strategy Translation: Translate business and account strategies into actionable co-marketing plans with channel partners.
  • Brand Amplification: Amplify Lenovo-owned brand and end-user campaigns through the channel.
  • Budget Management: Manage channel co-marketing/MDF budgets and spending.
  • Feedback and Implementation: Provide feedback on EMEA-owned channel tools and ensure their smooth implementation in the UKI operation.
  • Channel Incentive Programs: Run channel incentive programs to drive engagement and loyalty from the reseller network.
  • Event Management: Organize and manage channel experiential activities, including dealer conferences, training sessions, exhibitions, and VIP reseller events.

Qualifications

  • Marketing Experience: 5-7 years of marketing/communications or category/product marketing experience, preferably in the PC or technology sector.
  • Educational Background: Degree level or equivalent education in marketing or a business discipline.
  • B2B Market Understanding: Good comprehension of the B2B market and the channel sales model.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to present ideas clearly and convincingly.
  • Team and Individual Work: Strong team working skills, but also comfortable working individually.
  • Networking and Influencing: Good networking skills and the ability to influence sales teams and retailers.
  • Creativity and Problem-Solving: Outstanding creativity with a proactive, implementation-driven attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
