The Role
As a Senior Category Manager at The Silver Spoon Company, you will play a pivotal role in driving category growth. Through your expertise in understanding shopper behaviour, consumer dynamics and market trends, you will be adept at translating these into actionable and successful plans for our teams as well as aligning these with the strategies of our retailer partners to create sustainable category growth.
This role is aligned to key strategic retailer partners and the ability to foster deep relationships with stakeholders is required. Alongside the key category deliverables of optimising space, range, merchandising, promotions and creating shopper & consumer focused initiatives, you’ll be able to tailor the Category Strategy for retailer success and take a lead role alongside your commercial counterparts in building credible long term account plans. To be successful, you’ll enjoy balancing analytical rigour with storytelling verve!
The Candidate
You’ll possess solid FMCG experience with the core ingredients of an adaptable, positive and resilient nature. A natural collaborator who is hungry for growth, you’ll possess strong story telling skills that unite teams, influence with credibility and flair, and ensure we are optimally positioned to win. We are looking for someone with a strong ability to connect the dots across insights, trends and data, who can synthesise these into compelling actions and who uses their excellent communication skills to align internal and external stakeholders.
